Eterna is a Swiss watch company from the mid 1800s. Today, Eternal is perhaps best known for the solid workhorse ETA movement used in countless mechanical watches from the Tudor Submariner to microbrands who want to offer sustainable and serviceable tool. This was a pivot made early in the 1930s.
The Airforce II is a Neo-vintage offering circa 1990s maybe 2000s. It is powered by the ETA 2824-2 automatic with screw down crown. While the Arabic numerals a finely proportioned case size for a pilot’s watch in the era, we think it makes for a killer field watch today. While no service history, the timegrapher likes it.
