Kyros is the greek word for frost— coined to evoke images of arctic exploration, extreme winter sports, and frozen alpine environments. This chronograph is from the neo-vintage period sporting refined proportions, a silky bracelet and tritium dial equipped with 26-jewel in-house JLC mecha-quartz movement also used in models such as the IWC ingenieur from the same era. Positioned as a "dress-diver" collection, it stands out as a highly distinctive as both a tool and luxury watch as it is paired with highly integrated metal link bracelets using double-folding clasps and a screw down crown.
While no service history, this one is keeping time accurately and the choreograph is starting, stopping and resetting like it should.
