Alain Silberstein is a French interior architect and avant-garde watchmaker. This match is the meeting point between architecture and horology. With so much jammed into a time piece with valjoux movement and exhibition caseback, it also encompasses mid century modern design typically seen in houses or libraries now in a watch. What we love is the whimsical nature of the design and details from the “Playstation’ looking primary color pushers to the “concrete” sidewalls on case and the face details in moon phase and dat/night indicator.
Overall a clean watch with exception to case back wear—that has been serviced in 2026 but running a bit fast on timegrapher—keeping good time on wrist (your experience may slightly vary). Amplitude and beat are healthy—chronograph and quickset day complications are fully functional.
