Ball Watch Company was founded in 1891 by Webster Clay Ball, a jeweler and watchmaker from Cleveland, Ohio. Ball was appointed as the chief time inspector for the railroad industry in the United States, where he was responsible for setting and maintaining the accuracy of all timepieces used by railroad employees. In 1993, the brand was revived by a Swiss company, which continues to produce high-quality timepieces that uphold the legacy of precision and reliability established big homie Ball.
