Cartier Ballon Bleu de Cartier 42mm ref. W69012Z4
The Ballon Bleu was introduced in 2007 at the at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie with the intentions of disrupting traditional round watch design. It was engineered with the challenge of creating another icon like the Tank or Santos and is still a successful modern offering.
This variant dons a silver-toned guilloché with black Roman numeral markers, blued-steel sword hands, and a calendar window paired with an integrated crown guard protecting a fluted crown set with a blue cabochon spinel.
Overall, light wear but no damage. In general, the mirror finished sections on Cartier do attract scratches like the Santos bezel. No damage here and looks relatively unpolished with a lot of room in the bracelet but can only accommodate up to 7.25in wrists comfortably (max length is about 7.45in total
