Corum Tank Watch in 18K Yellow Gold with Pheasant Dial
Corum is a Swiss watch company from the midcentury known for its bold, unconventional designs and high-level horological complications. The brand is easily recognized by its logo—a key pointing skyward—symbolizing their mission to "unlock" new territories in watchmaking.
Here we have a wild Pheasant dial juxtaposed in a traditional solid gold tank case. Overall, appears relatively unpolished as the hallmark 18k stamps are deep and crisp—light wear throughout for a gold watch from the 1970-1980s and a light scratch on caseback—we assume an amateur wanted to check to see if it was really solid gold. While no service history, this one is showing healthy data.
