IWC (International Watch Company) was founded in 1868 by an engineer Florentine Ariosto Jones in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. They are renowned for both the pilot and engineer tool watches. Perhaps their best era is the Neo-vintage era such as this offering.
The Mark line traditionally points to a pilots time tool; however, today it translates well as a gentleman’s daily professional watch that can also cover hikes, light swims, vacations as well as weddings. The Mark XV was first introduced in 1999 through 2005. This one is on the later end on production as it features a luminova dial. It sports the original screw down fish style crown.
The IWC modified ETA based 2892a2 automatic with quickset date is running smoothly and data reflects a serviced watch but your experience may vary. Overall a clean time piece with no damage or condition notes.
