IWC Yacht Club II Two-Tone ref 3311 circa 1980s
IWC (International Watch Company) was founded in 1868 by an engineer Florentine Ariosto Jones in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. They are renowned for both the pilot and engineer tool watches. Perhaps their best era is the Neo-vintage era such as this offering.
The Yacht Clubis a Gerald Genta design from 1967 and the Yacht Club II was introduced in 1977. There is a jumbo 40mm model in both steel and titanium but this is a tasteful mid-size in steel and gold. Perhaps modern IWC with their enormous current offerings. The wrist in the album is 7in and looking tough.
Overall this one is in very good condition with no damage and light signs of polish—no service history but the quartz movement is keeping time like it should.
