Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox HPG Reference 9508 circa 1970

The Memovox was an early icon for JLC as it did offer both style and function. In Mad Men, advertising protagonist Don Draper wears a tuxedo black, white, and gilt variation reference E855. Here, we have a classic silk colored dial with hooded lugs.

It is the memory tool provided the user does not have to remember to wind the watch due to the automatic self-wining movement but also because the functional alarm and date complications.

This watch was privately inspected and cleaned up—running approximately -16 sec/day with a strong amplitude for a vintage watch.

Overall, this piece is in excellent condition for its age. Extra sauce: this one wears like jumbo and is a solid modern daily or eclectic dress watch.
