Louis Vuitton Tank
Louis Vuitton is a premier French luxury fashion house founded in 1854 by trunk-maker Louis Vuitton Malletier best known for their leather goods.
The Tank is an iconic luxury watch inspired by the top-down view of Renault FT-17 tanks on WWI battlefields designed by Louis Cartier in 1917. It belongs on the horological Mount Rushmore for both iconic design as well as cultural relevance as the Tank is well known to be a favorite of Andy Warhol, Jackie-O and even Muhammad Ali.
Here we have an LV version of a Tank that is quartz powered on a fresh lizard strap—but also comes with original LV strap and buckle. Overall a fun piece for a dress watch or elevated casual or professional settings.
Overall very good condition for what might be an 1970-80s watch. No damage.
