Omega DeVille Tank Chess Dial
Email or IG message to make a negotiable Zelle or wire offer
Omega DeVille Tank cal. 620 ref. 511.0427 Chess Dial circa 1970s
We are calling this the Chess Tank. The dial has 4 gradient sections but ghosts in certain light—yet this has a midcentury vibe even Art Deco. These references ranged from 1972-75. The case is nice and thick and still pairs with original crown and crystal
Not only does this piece serve as a fun casual or professional accessory but it also is a fine dress watch. While no service history, the manual wind is buttery smooth and has a healthy amplitude—it is running over 1min a day fast but we opted not to regulate it nor service it as it isn’t slow or low amp.
Specifications: 23mm X 27 X 20 lug width strap (wears large)

no box or papers; no damage but a few light marks on crystal but appears to be the original with the mini Omega sign engraved over hand stack.
video is the best way to view the watch if in-person test drive is not available. Due to the different characteristics of the cameras and gadgets used, the color of the watch you purchase may not be the same as shown on this website or on our Instagram.
will consider trades that make sense but please consider time, shipping, and trade value—not market.
local special: can possibly accommodate at ButterScotch in Downtown Long Beach or another local establishment by appointment. All sales are final unless the watch is misrepresented or lost in transit (always fully insured). Lbwc does not offer warranty but some watches come with factory cards;- with transferable warranty. Purchases may take 1-2 business days to process and ship.
