Omega Geneve ref. 166.0168 circa 1973 cal. 1012

Omega is a legendary brand with the Speedmaster and Seamster icons. The "Genève" name first appeared on Omega's dressier 30mm watches in 1953, to commemorate the caliber's record-setting performance at the Geneva Observatory. By 1967, it became its own series, intended as an entry-level range for a broader audience, allowing for greater design experimentation but also clean design.

This example comes in a club Blau blue which is special for this era as most dials were silver, white, champagne or gold. Even better, it is offered in a bigger case for the time with a conventional shape. The tritium on the white hands (quite special) is creamy and the lume plots have burned patina into the dial.

While no documented service history, it is showing healthy timegrapher data like it was serviced. Overall excellent condition for the era with no damage but honest wear.
