Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5060a with Extract from the Archives
Patek Philippe is regarded as peak horology. It was founded in 1839 and still undeniably a force today and a mainstay in the “Holy Trinity” of watches. In application and real design, the Nautilus and Aquanaut are some of the finest luxury sports designs and pair lovely with Patek’s grand complications, world timers, and perpetual calendars.
The Aquanaut Ref. 5060A is the historic first that launched the Aquanaut line. This one is indeed from 1997 and was initially marketed at the “Nautilus Aquanaut” with grenade dial—limited to 1000 pieces and ended in 1998. The A in the reference signifies acier (steel) with steel caseback as well and the bottom of the dial is blank were there is a tritium or luminova designation. Yes, it comes with an extract from the archives. Yes, this is an essential piece in terms of the brand’s history but also a stealthy, “Ya, this is that watch.”
The automatic quickset movement is healthy on the wrist and timegrapher; however, no service history. The watch appears unpolished with exception of a known light brush to the bezel. Yes we know the last 3 collectors of this watch and they are keen.

Can be cut shorter—we can also direct you where to buy more. Composite "Tropical" rubber strap, resistant to saltwater, UV radiation, and bacteria
