Coined the “Bubbleback” due to the domed caseback designed time house an early automatic movement with the perpetual full rotor. A collector piece indeed as bubblebacks tend to stay hiding in drawers and tight grips—especially when the dial is untouched and original such as this one.
When it comes to vintage, originality and condition are everything. Here, we not only have an untouched dial but also a full length rivet bracelet. The steel case is still very thicc with chubby lugs that are factory drilled on the non-crown side for easy strap changes. But back to that 3-6-9 dial with matching alpha hands! It is an old fashioned orange peel patina a will only continue to patina. Note, dating these older piece is not easy…serial starts with 424xx
The original signed crown is intact and winding smoothly. Overall a fine example that was privately service and timegrapher reflects this—your experience may slightly vary.
