Rolex Explorer I ref. 114270 Z-Serial circa 2007
An adventure watch since 1953. The Explorer is an icon not just known for ascending Mount Everest but the 3-6-9 configuration is also clean classic.
This is the one— as there is a strong argument for this Explorer 114270 to be the peak variant in the evolution of this design: original 36mm case and dial proportions, superluminova dial, 28,800vph frequency calibre 3130 movement and solid end link bracelet with minimal taper for a larger presence. The new model is basically a jewelry version of this tool watch and they should have always kept it this size and the original 1016 is quite pricey for a good example.
Here we have a 2007 variant with Z-serial visible on signed Rolex rehaute and EO stamped bracelet also from 2007 with solid end link bracelet. Overall we believe this watch was professionally serviced and properly polished based on timegrapher data and condition relative to year. Your experience may slightly vary.
