Rolex GMT-Master ref. 1675 circa 1966

The GMT one of the most historic and iconic watches that Rolex ever produced as its heritage is forever linked to a commission request by Pan American World Airways in the midcentury their pilots who needed a time tool for time zones.

The 1675 is a slowest date with robust caliber 1570 movement which is running super smoothly and pumping out healthy numbers even with unknown service history (we suspect one was done), friction faded Pepsi bezel and acrylic crystal. The tritium dial dons a Mayan gold hue—but possibly a very early service dial. The original date wheel sports a “hook” 7.

The folded 6152h jubilee bracelet is stamped 67 which also points to being an original mate—fit with 555b endlinks appropriate for the holes case

  • timegrapher and videos:

  • 40mm steel case X 20mm lug width

  • no box or papers

  • video is the best way to view the watch if in-person test drive is not available. Due to the different characteristics of the cameras and gadgets used, the color of the watch you purchase may not be the same as shown on this website or on our Instagram.

  • will consider trades that make sense but please consider time, shipping, and trade value—not market.

  • local special: can possibly accommodate at ButterScotch in Downtown Long Beach or another local establishment by appointment. All sales are final unless the watch is misrepresented or lost in transit (always fully insured). Lbwc does not offer warranty but some watches come with factory cards;- with transferable warranty. Purchases may take 1-2 business days to process and ship.
