Rolex Polar Explorer II ref. 16570 A-serial 1999 Swiss Only Dial
Polar Explorer is not only arguably the best white dial steel sports watch ever made. Here we have a Neo-vintage era variant with the combination of sapphire crystal, red GMT hand, and hollow endlink bracelet. The Polar is also unique to other steel sports Rolex offerings as it does look exceptional on leather, rubber and nato straps.
The “Swiss only” dial is a clean design luminova dial that was a transitional variant produced from about 1997-1999 before superluminova “Swiss Made” dials. While no service history, the automatic 3185 caliber movement is smooth and healthy on both wrist and timegrapher —minimal signs of polish and light signs of wear no damage
