Rolex Submariner ref. 14060M Z-serial 2-Liner circa 2006
The 14060 Submariner was first produced in 1990 and ran until approximately 2010. When the design language is solid, it will stick around forever—especially with minimalist clean 2-liner dial.
This diver epitomizes utility Rolex and is also a highly coveted variant from the neo-vintage era. The “M” refers to the modern updates including super luminova “Swiss Made” dial and 3130 caliber movement all cased in 904L stainless steel drilled lugs case and framed in an aluminum bezel insert. This is last of the “2-liner” variants as in 2007 the 4-line dial with "Rolex" engraved repeatedly on the inner bezel ring (rehaut) we implemented. So why is this it? It’s one of the last clean designs.
Overall, there are minimal signs of polish except hand polish on bracelet and clasp. The dial and insert are minty—the case does have a ding on the bottom edges on the 9 (non-crown side). Overall, the automatic movement is looking healthy on timegrapher with no service history but your experience may vary: approximately 12sec fast a day with a juicy 287 amplitude and perfect 0.0 beat error.
