Seiko Panda Chronograph ref. 6138-8020 circa 1972

The 1970’s were a strong era for Seiko chronographs. This aesthetically pleasing Panda was the first fully integrated automatic chronograph in the world featuring column wheel and vertical coupling mechanism. However, it is relay the details here that give it charm from the subtle brushing on dial, Suwa stamp near day window, syringe hands and a chronograph tip that has nicely faded.

While no service history, a clean watch with no notable damage and minimal signs of polish. The chronograph functions like it should as well as the quickset day and date (English and Roman numeral)
