In 1972 at the start of the Antarctic expedition,Jacques-Yves Cousteau gifted a Squale 2001 to the first officer of the Calypso— Michel Laval. Squale is now expanding the 2001 collection, introducing fresh designs that honor its legendary past while embracing modern innovation.
This piece is in excellent condition as it was used for review and photoshoots.

Specifications: 40mm diameter, 13mm thickness, and a very compact 43.6mm lug-to-lug length.
Movement: Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 (Elaboré grade)
Box and papers: box, travel leather and pin but no papers
Bracelet: appears close to fully liked. Recommended fit for 7.7in and under
